Sajad Gharibi, a body builder from Iran also known as the ‘Iranian Hulk’ and the ‘Persian Hercules' has made headlines after signing a new deal with Bare Kucke Fighting Championship (BKFC) to begin professional fighting next year.
Back in 2016, Gharibi, an Instagram sensation with close to 500,000 followers made headlines for volunteering to join Iranian forces to defeat ISIS, but with a stunning weight of 175kg, his decision to start professional fighting has left many fighting fans anticipating his debut.
David Feldman, the BKFC president, said of Gharibi's new contract finalized on Monday;: “This guy’s going to make his Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship debut in early 2020.
“We’re going to do a show entitled ‘USA vs. Iran: World War III’. He’s literally our biggest signing we’ve ever had.
“But he’s going to make his way over to Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, he’s gonna make a home here, and we expect really, really big things from ‘The Iranian Hulk’.”
